Knutsford May Day Fun Fair

The biggest fun fair in the North West returns for the May Bank Holiday weekend bringing attractions, stalls and fireworks to Knutsford Heath once again.
As usual, opening night will be on the Thursday before May Day, and the fair continues until Bank Holiday Monday with a free firework display on the evening of Sunday 3rd May (around 8.30pm)

Knutsford Royal May Day
Date: Saturday 2nd May
Time: Procession sets off at 2pm from Egerton Primary School
Venue: Knutsford Town Centre
For: Knutsford's traditional Royal May Day
The highlight of Knutsford's event calendar brings bunting, brass bands, costumes, crowds, street sanding, Morris dancing, floats, a funfair, and a fabulous atmosphere to the town.
Roads will be closed from around noon along the procession route which begins at Egerton Primary School then continues along Toft Road, Adams Hill, King Street, Tatton Street, Princess Street, King Edward Road, and Manchester Road - concluding on Knutsford Heath around 3.30pm before the crowning ceremony begins.
BYOB Pottery Painting Evening
Date: Saturday 2nd May
Time: 6.30pm

For: BYOB Pottery Painting Evening
Sip, paint & relax at this adult only pottery painting session where you're invited to bring-your-own-bottle (or order from the new Mocktail station) for an evening of creativity in Knutsford's craft venue.
All abilities are welcome, and tickets cost £15 per person plus the price of the pottery piece you choose to paint on the night. £10 will be taken off your bill at the end of the evening.

Knutsford Lions Community Fair

For: A free family day out to raise money for local good causes
Join Knutsford Lions as they bring some family fun to Knutsford on Bank Holiday Monday to help raise money for local charities and good causes.
There will be stalls, food, drink, music, games, children's rides, plus the popular dog show and agility course, so bring your four-legged friend too.
Entry to the event is free. If you're driving, parking will be available on the Heath for a small fee.

This year the event will take place in the grounds of Egerton Primary School, and all proceeds are going to local charities: Stable Minds and The Men's Shed.

Knutsford Music Festival
Date: Thursday 4th - Sunday 7th June
It's the return of Knutsford Music Festival - when BBC Radio Presenter, Mark Radcliffe, partners with Knutsford Town Council to bring a jam-packed weekend of live music and activities to the town with a variety of genres - from folk and country, to jazz, blues, and latino.
Tickets are now available for those performances which require booking (see below for details), and keep an eye out for more fringe events at Knutsford's bars, cafes & restaurants over the weekend.
The free open-air Music on the Moor also returns on Saturday 6th June with a programme of activities for all ages and music from emerging local talent. The ideal opportunity to enjoy more of Knutsford's music scene.
