Knutsford Highlights - February 2025
Knutsford Highlights for February 2025 - a roundup of news and happenings from around the town during February.
These monthly catch-ups bring together social media posts you may have missed, dates for upcoming events, and some of the Knutsford newness heading our way.
If you missed last month's, you can look back on January's highlights here.
Knutsford Royal May Day is on it's way
Congratulations Jemima Woolf on being chosen as Knutsford's 159th May Queen at the beginning of February. Which means Knutsford's biggest celebration of the year will soon be here.
Fingers crossed for a sunny Saturday on 3rd May when Jemima will be crowned by Crown Bearer, Thomas Nixon, preceeded by the usual procession, dancing, and general May Day shenanigans in Knutsford.

Loving the new Seven Sisters Ice Cream Farm flavours
Love was in the air midway through the month, as hearts, flowers, and sweet treats began appearing around the town. There were even some romantically inspired additions to the Seven Sisters Ice Cream offerings as they opened for the 2025 season.
Liz Boardman and I visited on their first day for a couple of tubs of deliciousness. We can confirm that alongside classic favourites, there's an abundance of ice cream treats on the menu, plus hot & cold drinks, and tasty traybakes on the counter. Seven Sisters Ice cream Farm is the perfect all weather venue which is both children and dog friendly - ideal for a family trip out.

Hot Cocoa will be popping up
For those of you who have been missing some Hot Cocoa goodies, you'll be pleased to know there's a dream combination heading Knutsford's way as Hattie and Davina from Cocaranti bring you 5 consecutive Fridays of chocolate pop-ups at the clothes store on 71 King Street. Chocolate & shopping, what's not to love.
If, like me, you missed the first one on 28th February, fear not, Hattie will be selling her scrumptious selection of chocolate, traybakes, and bonbons at Cocaranti every Friday throughout March.
There's even more exciting Hot Cocoa news coming very soon, so watch this space.

A blooming gorgeous St John's Church crocus carpet
It seems many of you love the stunning display of crocuses which make their colourful appearance every February in the St John's churchyard.
It's certainly one of my favourite sights in Knutsford - captured brilliantly this year by Zachary Locke Photography:

Co-work Knutsford is coming
February also saw the launch of an exciting new initiative which you may have seen on social media and in the Knutsford Guardian.
Co-work Knutsford will hold it's inaugral event at the Lost & Found on Thursday 6th March, and is an opportunity for anyone who would normally work from home to come and work alongside others for the morning.
You'll have your own workspace, unlimited tea & coffee, Wi-Fi, plus the option to gather some ideas and advice from the two hosts - a social media specialist (yours truly) and a copywriter (Liz Boardman), if you'd like some help with your own social media accounts.
Tickets are now available to purchase for the first 2 events via Eventbrite: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/co-work-knutsford-tickets
Exciting events heading your way...
As usual, I've been busy uploading more 2025 events and handy booking links to the 'What's On' page of the website: sceneinknutsford.com/knutsford-events
March promises a month of networking, wine tasting, hand embroidery workshops, and co-working.
Looking ahead to April, the Knutsford Bunny Hop will be taking place on Saturday 19th April, so there's still plenty of time to create those Easter bonnets and get your fancy dress sorted for this fun family event on Easter Saturday.
