Knutsford Highlights for June 2025 - a roundup of news and happenings from around the town during the month of June.
These monthly catch-ups bring together social media posts you may have missed, dates for upcoming events, and some of the Knutsford newness heading our way.

Knutsford Music Festival & Alfresco Dining
"If music be the food of love, play on." And that's just what Knutsford did during June, with Knutsford Music Festival, the first alfresco dining event of the year, Father's Day lunching, and many of the town's hospitality venues providing live music during some glorious balmy evenings.
Tickets sold out for the opening Knutsford Music Festival event hosted by St John's Church. Local duo, Mark Radcliffe and David Boardman, kicked off the weekend with a set from their latest album - Hearsay & Heresy, before the audience were treated to the hauntingly beautiful vocals of Katherine Priddy.
Unfortunately, the British weather failed to play its part for Saturday's Music on the Moor, but that still didn't dampen spirits as groups gathered to enjoy more music and family friendly activities.
Then Sunday saw slightly brighter skies when tables, chairs, live bands, and DJ's lined King Street, giving everyone the opportunity to raise a glass to the first alfresco dining event of 2025.
More outdoor dining is planned for August. Keep an eye on social media for all the details.

Fabulous Food
When it comes to dining in Knutsford, we're blessed with some fabulous eateries, and I'm often out and about enjoying their wonderful hospitality. June was no different, with healthy lunches in April's, Father's Day Sunday Roast at The Lost & Found, and a true treat - spending an evening at the amazing LI~LY by Aiden Byrne.
LI~LY is outstanding. The vibe is intimate yet relaxed, the service is excellent, and the food is spectacular.
Each vibrant dish provides a feast for the eyes, with textures and flavours designed to delight. Knutsford's newest restaurant has well and truly earned its spot in The Best Places to Eat in Knutsford blog post on the website, which you can read here.

It's been salads and smoothie weather recently, which called for a few visits to April's Kitchen to enjoy some of their June specials. The delicious feta salad is packed with flavour and fresh ingredients. And who wouldn't love a refreshing smoothie in a pineapple glass!
There was a request for sunday roast on Father's Day, so it was off to The Lost & Found for a sirloin of beef with all the trimmings, and a complimentary pint for dad. Wonderful.

Celebrations
As well as Father's Day, there were more celebrations during June with the completion of our eldest's university course, plus a family anniversary. And there was no better way to congratulate both big milestones than with a couple of gorgeous bouquets from The White Orchid.
The flowers from this wonderful King Street florist are always stunning, with the friendly team creating two very different but equally beautiful hand-tied arrangements. I highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for a fabulous floral gift.
Wonderful Wanders
Plenty of June sunshine provided the perfect opportunity for more wanders, and if you've been keeping up-to-date with the Scene in Knutsford social media pages, you'll have seen Liz Boardman and I have been sharing some of our favourite local routes.
Lime Walk Part II included a detour to The Lambing Shed Farm Shop & Cafe. Then there were quaint cottages, quirky buildings and a visit to the new cake shed on Legh Road included in another loop nearer the town centre.
Knutsford Banking Hub
As the month drew to a close, I was asked to help spread the word about Knutsford's new Banking Hub.
Banking Hubs provide everyday banking services to customers of all the major UK banks - much like banking at the Post Office.
An added bonus of Banking Hubs is the option to speak face-to-face with a community banker about your bank account. Something many have been missing since the closure of local branches.
The community bankers work on rotation, with a different bank available on each day of the week - Mon: LLoyds | Tues: Barclays | Weds: NatWest | Thurs: HSBC | Fri: Santander
Knutsford Banking Hub is currently located at the back of Knutsford Methodist Church. Access is gained via the car park at the back of the church, off Church View.
Opening hours are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, when the friendly team are ready to help you with cash & cheque deposits, cash withdrawals, balance enquiries, payment of utility bills, Top-ups, and change giving for business purposes.

Here comes July...
It looks like there's no slowing down during July with another packed events calendar in Knutsford. There's comedy, wine tasting, bottomless brunching, and sunday shenanigans at Mrs Boon's Tea party all heading our way throughout the month.
More details of these and other upcoming events for the year, can be found on the events page of the Scene in Knutsford website: sceneinknutsford.com/knutsford-events
