Knutsford Highlights - March 2025
Knutsford Highlights for March 2025 - a roundup of news and happenings from around the town during March.
These monthly catch-ups bring together social media posts you may have missed, dates for upcoming events, and some of the Knutsford newness heading our way.
If you've missed any highlights from 2025 so far, you can look back on the main blog page here
Spring Sprung!
Glorious sunshine and an abundance of daffodils - spring has arrived!
Flowers were blooming at Dexter & Jones too, with thanks to the Bubbly & Brushes ladies who invited me along to their Spring Paint & Sip event.
A blank canvas, no artistic talent, paints, and a glass of fizz - what could possibly go wrong? Luckily I drafted in some help in the form of my more talented daughter, and amongst lots of laughter we somehow came away with something resembling a vase of flowers. Not bad for 2 hours work.
If you fancy unleashing your inner artist at one of these workshops, follow Bubbly & Brushes on Instagram or Facebook. Also keep an eye on the social media pages of Dexter & Jones for details of all their events coming this summer - plus some exciting Knutsford news Katy & Adam will be sharing soon!

Knutsford's Best Cafes & Coffee Shops
Some of Knutsford's independent eateries were in the spotlight this month, as the first guest blog post was published.
When it came to writing the perfect piece about Knutsford's best cafes & coffee shops, I knew my regular brew buddy - local copywriter, Liz Boardman, would be ideal. She knows the top spots for a bite of breakfast, which venues serve something a little different, and where to find the best cake in town.
Check out her article on the blog pages, full of tempation and inspiration for your next Knutsford visit.

Co-work Knutsford kicked off
It was a go for Co-work Knutsford as the first 2 events brought together people from a variety of business sectors for a morning of connections, coffee and the chance to share ideas.
The relaxed and informal set up meant there were plenty of opportunities to ask questions and gain advice, while also cracking on with work.
April's co-working will be taking place at The Lost & Found on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 23rd. Everyone is welcome, just book a space, bring your laptop and enjoy the chance to work alongside others for the morning: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/co-work-knutsford-tickets

Hot Cocoa popped up
As mentioned in February's Highlights, Hattie from Hot Cocoa brought her chocolate treats back to Knutsford for a month of Friday pop-ups at Cocaranti.
Thanks Hattie (and the kids), I'm now making my way through my Mother's Day gifts. Mmmm, miso caramels.
If you missed the chance to indulge, or wish to stock up on more chocolates, 2 Easter themed Hot Cocoa pop-ups will be taking place at Cocaranti on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th April.

Knutsford was Blossoming
The fabulous Sue from Blossom Boutique got in touch to let me know they're reintroducing their Prosecco Saturdays, giving customers the opportunity to enjoy a glass of fizz as they browse the rails at this lovely independent clothing store on Princess Street.
Blossom Boutique offer affordable fashion, selling a range of dresses, tops, trousers, skirts, jackets, and accessories in sizes 8 to 16.
Their most popular collections include Stella Morgan, QED, and Made in Italy dresses, which are extremely flattering pieces designed to take you right through spring and summer.
Some brand new pastel coloured denim jackets (modelled here by Sue) add an extra layer when needed, and are flying out the store.
A quick turnover of stock means weekly deliveries bring lots of newness to the shop, so be sure to pop in to 6 Princess Street soon to see what's just arrived.

Let's celebrate!
A month full of birthdays and celebrations meant we seemed to eat and drink our way around the town during March - not that you'll find me complaining.
Beginning with one of my personal favourites, Linden Stores, where we dined on the latest seasonal creations on the Chef's Menu, and discovered that the new chocolate & rhubarb mille-feuille is a perfect way to finish another superb meal.
Don't forget, the Chef's Menu is now available at lunchtimes from Wednesday - Saturday. Book a table via the Linden Stores website.

Another fabulous eaterie for lunch is April's Kitchen, where some indecisiveness between the tasty Buddha Bowl and the Beef Burrito from the specials menu resulted in us ordering one of each. Both great choices.
Gusto currently have their own specials 'Adventure' menu, and I urge you to check it our next time you visit. I ordered the Saffron infused risotto Milanese topped with tender slow-cooked beef. Delizioso!
And always a popular choice with the family, our Margao meal was mouthwateringly good, with attentive and friendly service making this another of our favourite Knutsford eateries included on to the list of March meals.
Tatton Park News
After all that indulgence, it's a good job Tatton Park high season is here, which means the gates are now open on a Monday and until 7pm in the evenings. Providing more opportunity for long walks through the deer park.
If you've visited recently, you may have noticed the huge observation wheel which has appeared. This is the largest transportable wheel in the UK, and will be operating from 5th - 27th April giving guests the chance to experience panoramic views of the parkland.
Tickets are available to book online now: www.tattonpark.org.uk/events
Exciting Easter events heading your way...
Here comes April, bringing Easter with it, so if you're looking for some family activities, the annual Knutsford Bunny Hop will be taking place on Saturday 19th.
Then on Sunday 20th, The Lost & Found will be providing plenty of Easter fun with a morning of food, crafts, photo opportunities and chocolate.
