Knutsford Highlights for April 2025 - a roundup of news and happenings from around the town during April.

These monthly catch-ups bring together social media posts you may have missed, dates for upcoming events, and some of the Knutsford newness heading our way.

If you've missed any highlights from 2025 so far, you can look back on the main blog page here

Beautiful baskets of blooms

From painting last month, to arranging this month - it was back to Dexter & Jones for another fabulous spring flower inspired workshop.

Under the expert guidance of local florist, Sam, from Fox & Bloom Floral Artistry, and the influence of some Dexter & Jones gin, beautiful baskets of flowers began to blossom.

Chatting, laughter, and a relaxed vibe - these Dexter & Jones workshops are a great way to spend an afternoon, enabling you to escape for a couple of creative hours.

More Dexter & Jones workshops are coming up soon, so keep an eye on social media for all the details, including information about another Paint & Sip event by the Bubbly & Brushes duo on Friday 16th May - this time with a Tatton Park theme: www.tickettailor.com/events/bubblyandbrushes

And if you love the look of the Fox & Bloom creations, you can view their full floral catalogue or book one of their own workshops here: foxandbloomfloralartistry.co.uk

Spring blossom & sunny strolls

It wasn't just the baskets brightening up April, as some glorious sunshine brought out the blossom and bluebells around town, while providing the perfect excuse for some spring wanders in Tatton Park.

The town centre has been busy with people enjoying the warmer weather, with plenty of picnicking by the moor and dining alfreco at the many eateries.

New menus & lunching ladies

Loving The Lost & Found brunch

Speaking of eateries, have you heard The Lost & Found are now serving brunch daily from 10am?

We were invited along to try a selection of dishes from the menu, which includes many classic favourites plus a few choices for those who prefer something a little different.

The green shakshuka (pictured below) is really delicious, and I loved the crushed avocado option. Both were topped with eggs poached to perfection.

There's also a full English breakfast, steak & eggs, sweet options, and the most delicious truffle & cheese hashbrowns I recommend ordering as a tasty side dish. Definitely one to add to your Knutsford brunch spots.

Sigiriya salads & canapes

Another invitation came from the Sigiriya team, who were keen to showcase their lunchtime and canape offerings to a group of us from Knutsford Women in Business. We didn't need asking twice!

This Tatton Street restaurant might not be the first one which springs to mind when seeking somewhere for lunch in Knutsford, but it's a great one to choose.

We were treated to some of the most sensational trays of canapes - from chicken skewers and battered prawns served with dips, to croquettes oozing with cheese, plus a mouthwatering Sri Lankan inspired bruschetta.

Some of the dishes are served on the usual lunchtime menu, alongside omlettes, vegetable roti, open sandwiches, and one of the tastiest salads in Knutsford. Check out the full menu here: www.sigiriya.live/menus

Women's Wellness VIP Brunch

During such a busy month, it was lovely to make time for a spot of pampering and relaxation at a Women's Wellness VIP Brunch hosted by Roberta from Roberta Beauty - a popular Knutsford skincare & beauty salon.

As we filled up on fruit platters and pastries, Roberta shared her tips for mature skin, including details of a new exosome microneedling treatment.

A nutritional talk by Helen Jones Nutrition, and some calming pressure point massages by the lovely Charlotte, completed another wonderful April event.

Here comes May Day!

As we move in to May, there's plenty more on the Knutsford events calendar, including one of the town's highlights - Knutsford Royal May Day.

This means, all the fun of the fair and the usual May Day madness over the first bank holiday weekend, the Knutsford Lion's Community Fair during the second, with Flash Fashion, wine tasting, embroidery workshops and more, all happening between the 2.

Knutsford newness

Also heading our way during May is the launch of an evening menu at Wallop on King Street, a huge world record being set at Toft Cricket Club, and the re-opening of Knutsford Market Hall, as well as more networking, more co-working, and hopefully more sunshine!
